I was sitting at a red light this morning and auto stop engaged. The light turned green and I took my foot off the break and pressed the gas petal and nothing, dead in the water. I pressed the gas petal a couple more times and then after about 5 seconds it fired up and hasn't been an issue since. I was lucky that nobody was behind me. It's an ECO.

Anyone else run into this issue? I have about 3700 miles on it and this was the only time I had an issue.

The only thing I can think of is if you had Auto Hold also On. Maybe it wouldn’t start until the Auto Hold was also ready to release the brake???

I didn't have auto hold on as far as I know, but I had a passenger who could of accidentally hit the button I suppose.

I have it in my Escape and I've never seen it do that. Auto hold just holds the brake so it is possible your truck didn't register the brake release if hold was on. But I was unaware of any way to turn the hold off without using the button that turns it on.

Hi there. Can you send us a DM with your VIN and dealership info? I can look into this for you.
