Anyone purchasing Ford extended warranty to take it out 10 years?

I got a quote 10 yr for about 1600 covers everything Ford does.. the guy of course hits into the office mgr comes bsck out and says well we will match i know they mark it up big time was basically at cost who knows i brought a copy of the quote with me so i could prove it to them

Have you ever had to use your YAA warranty? I was just quoted $2600 for 6 years/150k mi through YAA for my Mav and am just curious how the process works. Do they pay the dealership directly or do they reimburse?

I was thinking about it but put 15K on my truck in 10 months.

10 year 175,000 warranty $0 deductiable is $5960.

I'd get 7 years of warranty but my cost is $6K. So I guess the question is - will I have in excess of $6K of repairs to do in the 7 years after my warranty expires.

$200 deductible plan is $4905.

In both of my last two cars there was a $1000-$1500 repair sometime after 100,000 miles but never anything over that and only one major issue each time.

Just have to roll the dice I guess.

Yesterday, I received my Maverick FE, after 15 month waiting time. Great day and extremely happy.
I bought the Ford OEM bumper to bumper extended warranty, 8 years 100K miles.
I am just purchasing "peace of mind", and I hope never need to use this policy.

Paint won't be covered. If by interior you mean scratches on plastic, than that is also a no.
Ford Protect PremiumCare covers pretty much everything mechanical, except for maintenance items.

Yes I bought a 10yr/100,000 mile ESP warranty from Granger for $1,600. The best my dealer could get me was 8 year for $2,800. No regrets because I keep cars for 10 years typically and always come out ahead. I agree if you only get 5 years it is a waste of money. That’s about when things start going wrong.

I got 10 year/150k through my dealer for $2800. On a new model somewhat cheaply built vehicle something worth $2,800 is bound to go wrong in 150k miles.

I bought the Ford plan 10 years, 48000 miles for $1155. I only drive 3 to 4 thousand miles a year now. Piece of mind.

3/26 Follow up-I have another vehicle but I enjoy driving the Mav so much it ends up I've been doing 6,000 miles a year, lol.

I went for an extended warranty. Too many high powered electronic gizmos that I definitely don’t want to know what the cost is. I’d have to go through the paperwork to figure out which exact one.
