It is warrantied for 8 years/100,000 miles. Should last 150,000 to 200,000. But as with all estimates, that's an average and just an estimate. TESLA batteries typically last 300,000 - 500,000 miles with the same 8/100,000 warranty. Not sure why Ford batteries would last less.
Do you get 35 mpg...
How many repairs do you think it would take to pay for the extended warranty? I got one when I bought by 2014 Subaru Forester Touring and it easily paid for itself. Two Harmon Kardon radios replaced took care of most o it. Once it ran out and I bagan paying for things out of pocket, it as time...
With all the electronics in ALL today's cars, I wouldn't purchase one without an extended warranty. I got one for my 2025 Maverick Hybrid. My basic thought is I don't want to pay for expensive repairs for car I am still making payments on.
I agree 100%. I was sorely disappointed when I discovered there not only were no fog lights on my 2025 Lariat Hybrid, but they are not even an option or available from Ford parts.
I'm truly sorry I did not hear you say to skip forward. I'm sure you provide a valuable service to some users, it's just not for me. I was really not hoping to spend more money on yet another subscription. We all (I assume) dropped our cable to streaming to save money, not to mention land lines...
I don't understand why anyone with a smartphone would pay for any of this. Carplay does all of this through bluetooth on my iPhone as far as I can tell. Also these guy just like to hear the sound of their voices. They are the kind of people I would avoid like the plague. People who use the most...
I went for an extended warranty. Too many high powered electronic gizmos that I definitely don’t want to know what the cost is. I’d have to go through the paperwork to figure out which exact one.
None of the comments about the engine running or anything else are correct. It happens occasionally on my 2025 Lariat Hybrid. The car is off the doors are unlocked and it takes me more than the suggested few seconds for me to get out of the driver’s seat to open the rear door. It doesn’t happen...
Personally, I would try to get a new one from Ford on warranty, then if that failed I'd spend the $150 - $200ish for a new AGM battery. I buy new cars because I want reliable vehicles and it sound like yours is living on borrowed time with that obviously failing battery.
That changes the follow distance when the adaptive cruise control is on. Each line is one second of follow time so the distance is different at different speeds. If the cruise control is off it doesn't do anything.
