Reading the reviews on anything is a trap. People who hate products love to bad mouth and give it a 1 star. Few people want to rave about it and give it 5 stars. Everyone that is satisfied is not talking. Similar to a forum. Plenty of hype and some small to serious issues

I know I can’t remember all the issues but below are some of them. I would use it as a guide of things to keep an eye out for but not to stress over.

Fuel tank recall - problem solved going forward
Seat belt recall - problem solved going forward

Paint chips (rocks)
broken front grill (probably a 🪨 rock)

Windshield cracked (rocks and warranty)

Transmission fluid overflowing (overfilled during build, Ford said this issue has been addressed)

Ford pass remote start on hybrids running rich and turning the CAT red hot is a computer issue that Ford needs to fix.

Various alignment issues from a few people. Should be an easy fix for any of them. I’ve heard steering wheel shakes at 70 MPH and truck pulls the right from two different people.

Half shaft and control arm squeak/leak - both got replaced under warranty.

Radio freezing - Ford said the fix is coming next week.

Various rattles from different components that got lose, easy fix for most of them so far.

Rain leaks into back door because of improper sealant behind door panel. Fixed by the dealer without issue.

poor sealant/weld where truck bed meets the windshield (bottom left/driver side). This is an eye sore more than an issue.

Hood shake that has numerous solutions.

Dead on Arrival. One hybrid has been DOA and status is unknown at this point. It’s sad but sometimes there is a dud.

Some people have noted that when they hit a deer, or semi truck their truck no longer functions.
Ha ha ha ha loved them all ESPECIALLY the last one:) so far the only issue my Wife seems to have had may be the radio freeze. I wonder if that’ll be updated through the internet or at the dealer. Anyways she just hit the on off button and it seemed to remember that it was a radio. Up to this point and having it for 6 days and putting 295 miles on it she loves it:)

Only issue I've had so far is just an AWD warning that kept popping up, but doesn't seem to affect drivability whatsoever. Ford released it back to me safe to drive until they get the part in to replace what is tripping the intermittent warning (hasn't popped up since I got it back from the service dept). I still LOVE my Maverick and I'm okay with a few things needing attention or fixing with a first year vehicle, and that's what the warranty is for!

Don't know what website you are referring to.....

Because on this website the ratio of VERY happy Maverick owners vs. people reporting minor issues is about 25:1
Of that 1 you have 1/3 that have legitimate complaints, 1/3 that just want to bitch because in their world everything should be perfect, and the last 1/3 that make you wonder if they can spell CAT much less know their way around a car.

I just got mine on Monday, 12/27/21. Been driving it around and playing with it. Zero problems, everything works. My wife drives it as much as I do and we both love it!

Have had mine for about a month with 2,500 miles. While I'm technically in the spray in bedliner recall build window, have not had any issues other than the infotainment screen freezing once during start up. That was just a quick reboot/turn off & on truck to remedy that. Absolutely great vehicle for me though

800 miles and no issues! One of my favorite things is the B&O stereo and switching from AM, FM, and Sirius so darned easy. Really glad I got the Mav!

No unexpected issues so far, and surviving a cold Canadian winter so far. Lovin' my little truck.

Screen brightness not going higher than mid point has been mentioned, not sure if its software or hardware limitation.

Pirelli's have been good in the snow, suck on icy roads though. Will be replaced with Wildpeaks.

Two months and 4000kms. I love the truck. Only problems were with the infotainment system (blank screen, volume control, Apple CarPlay not always recognized) and occasionally the Ford app remote start failed to work.
