Mine. I called and the dealer was shipped more parts then they needed so they said bring it on in. I did, it took a day and change but I had the grabby brakes done, an oil change, and chase down an audio glitch. No damage, no scratches, no rattling no issues. Glad to have it done and know my vehicle is safer now and the grabby brakes are so much better now as well.
Hoping for the same -)

I hope the same for you as well. If you take it to a good dealer they will take care of you. These forums are always skewed to the bad experiences and not the good ones because who gets online and says "I got my recall done and there was no damage!". LOL its just expected, and I would wager the majority of folks experiences.

I remember when the Takata airbag recall hit my 2013 Mustang - dealers were damaging dash trim panels frequently - I refused to have it done.

Dealer has been great so far - Other dealers down the road, not so much.

Our Honda Element had the airbag recall done then 6 months later they determined the replacement units were bad as well - lol

So, because of the reported issue with the air bags, I am totally unconcerned. I may never get it done because of all the problems reported after having it done.
I haven't gotten mine done because of it. It's sad because I'd really like it fixed with non-issues.

I don't know the specifics of the recall and what the defined risk is. But I have to agree that it should be measured against the very real risk of new trouble from having it done. I personally would not be in a hurry to get this recall done unless it were truly life and limb on the line. I would rather have a service tech do a hundred of them before mine rather than be one of the first five he gets to finger bang trying to find his away around a Maverick for the first time
Hence exactly why I'm waiting. 👍

Not much has changed, at least not for me.

Both B pillar plastics were destroyed, the headliner was touched with oily fingers, and my dash is gouged. All but the dash are fixed.

Gonna be calling them soon to see how they're going to fix my dash or if they'll be replacing it.

Sadly not unexpected as many service techs can't even seem to perform a simple oil change, which doesn't require touching the headliner, without staining it with greasy hands...

I had the recall done about two weeks ago and have found only cosmetic issues since. After pointing them out they are ordering a new lower C pilar trim piece for the passenger side. It was not removed for the install, but it now shows a gap and will not snap back into place. The roof liner is not fully snugged up to the back of the cab above the rear window. They are going to reseat it when the trim piece comes in.

In hindsight, I would probably lean toward waiting and giving the service groups more time to practice on someone else’s vehicle.

We all know about hindsight thou don’t we. 😉

PS, I did receive the very nice Maverick Yeti Tumbler thou.

Don’t do it. All kinds of problems since they did this recall.
Collision alert now doesn’t work or auto start stop.
been in twice going in again

The same guy changed my battery. The wires weren't clipped in and the red cover was not on.

And I'm supposed to trust them? 😂

Has anyone had the Side/Airbag recall performed and have had it not been a disaster with dash scratches - Mis/Aligned A -Pillars and or new dash rattles ?
My recall went well. Passenger side seatbelt has hung up and they got it in the next day, so no sweat. They sent me a Ford/Maverick YETI water bottle too.
