If it is wrong and not the way it's supposed to be and not the way it comes I want to be 100% sure before I go in there raising hell LOL that's why I'm asking for other people to look at their headliner in the back by the back window is it tucked in tight to the window in the center or does it hang down a little bit like I can stick my fingers up behind mine
Dammit, just noticed mine was loose/sagging also a couple days ago, i had the recall done last month. Tried popping it back up, must be the clips were broken at recall fix. Maybe I'll take another crack at it and try finding the clips, dealer is 80 miles away round trip.

Can anyone please tell me if their headliner is lose or sags in center of rear cab window? I feel like after service apparently had to remove some trim and headliner it sags and is not attached snugly, not sure if was like that always or because they did not put back properly, thanks!
FYI, Ford issued a TSB to replace headliners that couldn’t be installed correctly after the recall. I just found out about this today after seeing my headliner. That’s when the Service Manager told me and said he had one on order for my truck.

I'd ask the dealer to look at it. If they're decent people, they'll take care of it.
I agree. Just schedule an appointment for 3 weeks out. Leave the truck for 48 hours and come back to the same problem, because they can not see the sag,

Then they wouldn’t be the ā€œdecent peopleā€ I mentioned earlier.
Then we’d have to go to Plan B

My dealer fixed it in 5 minutes at the 2nd trip for the sag, the tech said they had to adjust the clips where the headliner snaps into, they thought it might be a half hour or 3 hour job but a smart tech knew what had to be done, giddi up!

There should be clips in the center area looks like about the width of the rear window apart that hold the headliner up.

Where can one get their hands on a manual like this?

Get it fixed right while you have a warranty. Or it will sag much lower after several humid summers and you will get stuck with the bill to replace the headliner. We regret getting the Maverick recalls done. Airbags, grill louvers, belly pan under the engine; all the work was sloppy and looked unprofessional. Makes a new Maverick look old if you look closely. Now we have a defective front axle assembly causing front end wobble. Very disappointing. Proves the saying, "never buy a new model vehicle in the first year of production."

I've had this issue with my Maverick following the airbag recall. Where can I find that TSB?

Ford replacing the bad headliner a great thing!
Are they also going to remove the imbedded grease marks in the trim pieces, visors and carpeting? Then replace all the scratched and marred plastic trim pieces, dashboards, speaker covers, glove compartment doors?

FYI: I love this vehicle, but that recall isn’t going to happen with me.
Nooooooo _ _ _ _ ing way!!

I understand how you feel. I was thinking that way, too.

But, I was concerned about any future repercussions that might arise (in case of an accident) from refusing the air bag recall.

I totally respect your concerns.

As for me?
I don’t care one iota.
Accident/no accident…
Even at gunpoint.
I am NOT having it done.

Incidentally: Are you sure you even were aware of a recall? I never received any notification. šŸ˜‰

To each his own, of course. :)

No, I didn't get a letter. Found out from the dealer.

There were so many reports of stuff like this, I decided to wait on this recall until it seems like they know how to put it all back together correctly. As sloppy as these repairs seem to be, I’d also be concerned about them installing the airbags correctly.

When I had the battery cable overlay done, they didn’t tuck any of the carpet back under the driver-side left footrest when they reinstalled it. Kind of an obvious oversight. Cost me another trip back to the dealership.
