Does the USDA catch and release the deer with a stamp?

My sympathies to him, old, and struggling to get by, that's rough. I've made a promise to myself that if I ever end up in that position, I won't be around much longer. But everyone has their own reasons for wanting to stick around, I hope he has something to look forward to in life that makes it worth it.

First off, congrats OP. That's a dandy.

Maybe hunting season is the one thing he looks forward to in life. Maybe that's what keeps the old man going.

There's alot of things I look forward to. But other than family stuff, the one thing I look forward to the most every year is hunting season. "It's the most fun I have with my clothes on." (I can't remember whom I heard that from) until they run and die in the creek after being shot. Then I gotta take my clothes off to retrieve them. Nothing makes me feel more alive than when a deer, be it a shooter or a spotted fawn, walk in front of you in that setting. Unless you hunt, you wouldn't know what I'm talking about.

So if yo do this every year for ten years your maverick will cost less than $75 per pound of meat. Hunting might be cheaper than fishing?
