I had the same issue this morning when I got in my truck. Searched the forum while driving to the office. 👆🏼 Did this when I parked and it worked! Thanks for the help!
I have been searching for an over-the-cab rack and nothing I have seen has solid reviews. The cross bars you have look to be sturdy. Would you mind sharing the brand/link for them? Are they also part of the Elevate rack system?
That is a great looking rack. I have been looking for over-the-cab cross bars like the ones you have installed. I do not see those listed on your website. Could you please provide info on them and point me in the right direction?
My first mods (items arrived same day and were installed same day), tailgate assist, all weather floor mats, center console organizer tray, and tailgate letters.
Merry Christmas!
I didn’t know that they didn’t all come this way. If that’s the case, then I’m sure it serves a purpose. I just figured it was a joint where the 2 trim pieces come together. My tonneau cover will be here this week. I have seen where people have used gasket maker to fill that seam. That is my...
I didn't mean the products that you are selling @RichardCranium . You made modifications to the original file and have spent time R&D time as well as material print time on this. And you are not out to make a fortune on these. I appreciate that you are able to supply a product that many people...
Just pulled them off the printer. I ran mine at 60% infill. They still have a decent flex, but feel sturdy enough stay in place. I only had grey in TPU. I will check fit soon. Thanks again for the remix. I may try to throw in a Maverick Logo cutout in another remix. 👍🏻
Well stated @mfergel, there are so many people that resell others work as if it were created by them. It is very frustrating when I look on sites like Etsy, and see designs that are being sold that were built by others. The 3D printing community, in the beginning, was a great collaboration of...
I would recommend using PETG. My second choice would be ASA. PLA would probably do okay in the winter, but in the summer months, it would likely start to warp in the heat.
I didn't create any of the .stl files. My original post gives the link to a file created by m7550 on Thingiverse. I believe...
I will run a set of those tomorrow with some TPU. Did you go with 100% infill? I’ve ran through 2 spools of black PETG printing stuff for buddies in town. Lots of FITS stuff and cubby inserts. Just telling them it’s an early Christmas gift. Thanks for the .stl mod. 👍🏼
The largest height piece of lumber I could fit was a 2 x 8. A 2 x 10 wouldn’t slide into the slots because it was catching on the bed rail overhang. I wanted it to be pretty tall, and adding the 2 x 4 got me to the height I wanted. The chest latches were originally added to detract from any...
Our local dealership has been getting quite a few in during the third quarter, but 90%+ are customer orders. They told me that they have been lucky to get one allocation a month, and those are also sold before they arrive due to demand. They are also not marking them up like many post I have...
You are so right! I was taking some bags out today and they were all hanging up on the hooks and not in an intentional way. Grabbing some eyelets tomorrow. I also installed a cargo net this afternoon. Time will tell if that is absolutely necessary.
Where did you get locks for the cubbies? My only hesitation about storing certain things in them are due to the lack of security (I don't have a bed cover).
Those look great! I've got them running on my printer now. I keep a bunch of stuff under my seat and need a solution. Are the cut dimensions pretty accurate?
That is still an option. The
Thanks, I have downloaded those files and but wanted to see if there were any aftermarket options before I went this route. Did you end up building them? I just figured if I could purchase some for $20 it would save time and would probably end up costing about the same.
