A live deer will likely fit, but you'll wish it didn't try. Here is the news reel
I've had some wildlife sneak up on me outside before, including a black bear, but that deer was clearly auditioning for "White Tails Can't Jump" and in the wrong neighborhood.

I would rather see a human being (adult male) blasted and decapitated than watch a defenseless animal killed.
I know an old local fella that's creeping in on 80 years old. The little income he has coming in doesn't cover much more than his utilities. He lives by himself in an old 1970s mobile home. He's a tough old coot and still cuts, splits and stacks five cords of firewood each summer. He also hunts and fishes, and actually eats the poor defenseless animals he kills. Fills his freezer each season with venison and trout. Keeps his pistol on his living room table. He's just trying to get by in this increasingly crazy world, and he probably wouldn't take kindly to somebody wanting to blast or decapitate him.

My sympathies to him, old, and struggling to get by, that's rough. I've made a promise to myself that if I ever end up in that position, I won't be around much longer. But everyone has their own reasons for wanting to stick around, I hope he has something to look forward to in life that makes it worth it.

But you didn't watch it being killed? I guess you don't eat anything? Or only if it's in the grocery store because you don't see it dead, just parts of it? Sorry, I'm a hunter too and get tired of people saying you shouldn't hunt and kill any animals, but they have no problem eating beef, pork or chicken. Hell even some plants are killed so we can eat them.

Pretty sick statement there. Enjoy those defenseless avocados, and kelp., or whatever sustains you.

Just before they die they are usually fitting into the front fender and/or the hood.
Exactly, deer overpopulation and impingement on their habitat is a Big Thing. Deer suffering a horrible death from being run over is happening closer to cities all the time, at least in Texas.
