$80,000 Maverick?

Whoever modified that Maverick lost their rear-end on that thing. This is when you have more money than cents. I agree the dealer gave under $40k trade in on this thing so you talk him down $20k and they are still making a killing.

Probably executed nice if Salween was involved. Not my colors , but lots of nice paintwork !
Would have done this to a Tremor , but they weren’t available ! But they should have at least made it an awd! With some turbo mods , paddle shifter and other speed mods , especially in that price range!
50k would be closer to real if comparing recent paint and stereo builds ( the silver with graphics one with the bed full of speakers)that just sold out of Texas?
It would be cool if the body kit would be produced.

It cost more in aftermarket mods than the MSRP of the truck. If I was gonna do this to a Maverick, I would at least go XLT with lux package, moonroof, and rear window.

I took delivery of my hybrid xl in February 2023. $19,590 after rebates.
I purchased it as an inexpensive truck, cheaply designed and cheaply built. Now at 16k miles and 46.2 average mpg.
I am amazed at the number of folks in this forum who upgrade and add all manner of goo-gaws to this vehicle. At its core it is still a cheaply designed and cheaply built vehicle. As Ford intended.
Maybe a better choice for some would be a Ranger.
Btw, I am extremely satisfied with my Maverick!

I would rather buy a fully loaded Hybrid Lariat Maverick and Tremor. Then use the extra money to accessorize both of them!

Ahh, the rear bumper delete with roll pan. A bit of 80's mini truck customization I had completely forgotten about. Now to forget it again.

Yeah.....I am actually surprised at some of these comments. This was a custom, one of a kind, SEMA conference truck. SEMA.... the "Specialty Equipment Market Association". The place where automotive specialty equipment manufacturers get to show off their custom/fancy/niche market products once per year.

Folks talking about the present value of this Maverick or the warranty being voided are totally missing the point. The person who buys this Maverick is buying it for the back-story of it and that it is a "1 of 1".

Modifying these little trucks is apparently very offensive to some, they just can't help themselves and have to make sure we all understand just how ignorant we are for changing anything. Be nice if they could just focus on discussing the latest kleenex dispenser or console organizer they have found.....

This particular truck is purely a show truck, and it was done very well.
