600 mile range club

I've had my 2024 hybrid Mav four or five weeks now and have put almost 3,000 miles on it.

Just officially verified that it gets over 600 miles of range on a tank of gas. This was mix highway surface st driving. AC on the majority of the time, running in eco mode and quite a bit of idling for the AC.

I'm not doing anything out of the ordinary to get this sort of incredible gas milage. I drive in D in eco mode. Use regenerative braking as much as possible (meaning long glides with easy brake / regenerative pedal.) But I'm not annoying about it. I do not use the Low gear thing to run in or activate it when stopping.

I was going to throw in some snark about going 700 miles in my F-150. But then I remembered, it has a 36 gallon tank and I ran it almost dry. It was a fairly expensive 700 miles in comparison.

My current tank is set to go 745 miles. Currently at 610 and still have a quarter tank.

I like the mileage my Maverick Hybrid gets. When traveling between my properties in Nevada and Utah. I see signs like the one pictured below.

It looks like I am destined to make it in to the 600 Mi club on tank #3... I haven't been resetting Trip 1, but I do log my mileage very frequently and according to my records I have 57Km (35mi) to empty and 44Km (27.5mi) left to make it to 600mi on this tank - I need to hit 2799.4Km on the ODO to achieve it. These trucks are awesome!

I'm using my 24 hybrid XL to commute, 50 miles round trip, to work.

But it's really a prototype to me for a business I hope to develop. I'm using it (testing) doing local delivery in the Chicagoland area. Hoping to develop a local courier service that can handle parcels, packages or a 1200 lb pallet. 500 mile radius delivery potential.

So far I really like the truck for the courier work. I've upfitted it with a hard tri fold tonneau cover from rough country and bed mat. I have not done any heavy runs yet.

The suspension feels strong and durable. My only real concern is will the hybrid power train hold up. Especially, if I'm able to secure heavy runs of between 500 - 1000 lbs.

I have an llc setup and hoping for a 2025 or early 2026 launch.

I'm also interested in learning more about the Hino class 5 hybrid. Which would be used for large loads.

Just went back and forth from California in an EcoBoost.
Topped off halfway there and miles available on tank was 604 miles.
Didn't take a pic...
