3D Printed Bin for the Bed Cubby

That’s got be a great job. What dealer do you work at? I doubt I’ve been there, but I’ve been in several as when we vacation I stop at some to try to score a dealer baseball cap as I collect the ford dealer caps.

I work at the Ford dealership in Smithfield, NC. We have a few of the 2026's on the lot and more on the way.

I couldn’t work at a Ford dealership, I’d go broke. I’ve owned well over 100 Ford, Mercury and Lincoln’s if I worked at a dealership no telling how many I would’ve bought. I’m on my 4th mav and been eyeing #5

To make the bed storage cubby easier to use I drew up and printed a bin that attaches to the lid.

Took my 2024 XLT to the car wash today and checked the bed cubby - not well sealed and the lower pocket was wet. @RodLS at least I knew from this thread that there was a lower pocket!

I didn't get that message in time! I bought one last month. They are appliances now days.
The dirty little secret is they can give away the printers and just sell the filaments! Shades of the inkjet days!

I got this one for free through my work about 6 months ago and it has been rock solid. It actually got me into some beginner 3D design, and let me tell you, having a tool like this opens up SO many possibilities. It's great.

I had one of these combination locking covers which is a good idea. I'd prefer a keyed option, though as my aging eyes had trouble viewing the numbers.
