3D print CD player mount

There's no place in the interior to set this CD player I bought so I 3D printed this little tray. The round bit fits snuggly in the cigarette lighter and suspends the player up out of the way without taking up any storage space.

Do you use a special 3D print program to design such a thing? Like just enter plug diameter here? etc?
Otherwise, way to complex for me to produce!
I would have to make one out of wood!

I had a 71 Torino with an 8 track player. It would only play program 2 of a tape so I was careful when buying a new 8 track to verify the songs on program 2 were what I wanted to hear. Remember seeing the tape unfurled along the side of the roads when someone cleared their player of the unwound tape?

Two days ago I received an email from Ipsos.com concerning "Vehicle Technology Satisfaction " for my 2025 Maverick FWD hybrid.
I did my best to let them know about my lack of a CD player option, lack of multiple sorting functions on flash drives, not being able to save driving option preferences, lack of analog switch functions, etc...

Your CD player option is great! Let us know how it holds up!

Yes, I know, I would have chosen the analog or dinosaur package if it was available!

But eyes on the road not hunting and pecking on a center display for small little square tiles!
It doesn't take long driving an analog car to build muscle memory for all the frequently used buttons and switches. With eyes on the road it's easy just to reach and change your functions. Radio, heat a/c, seat heaters, etc...

If get the email survey, tell them what you like and don't like.

My Dad's '72 Grabber Blue 4dr Mav had an 8 track.. with speakers sitting on the back desk.. That's when I was introduced to the Carpenters, the Beatles and Johnny Cash..
Ah..memories.

Now my '22 Velocity Blue 4dr Mav is making memories with Metallica, Queensryche, Megadeth, Iron Maiden, In This Moment, Nightwish (w/Floor), and others. Lol
