Picked my maverick up today from getting it tinted. Back window & rear passenger windows come with a factory stained privacy glass which I decided to keep as is for now. We did our best to match that. I only tinted the front windows today. (Windshield is illegal to tint in Ontario).
Tint on front windows is 35%. The guy said after install it measures at 28% though. As you can tell from the pics, it’s darker at different angles. Thought I’d share for anyone else looking to tint!

35 is nice - not too gangster dark like 20 and below. I will be doing 35 as well, all my previous cars have 35.

Yeah my last vehicle was tinted so dark I could barely see through it at night. I think this is perfect. Vehicles in Ontario are also limited to 30% legal tint anyways for the front windows now

35% in Phoenix is the limit for the front so that is what I did also. I decided to go dark in the back and used 5% in the rear windows. The temperature difference in the truck is significant here and I don't have to flip the mirror at night!

35% is perfect for the two front windows. I'll add 35% to the back as well.

Ceramic tint on my F150 made a huge thermal difference. I had my windshield tinted as well. It goes to show that you don't need very dark windows to stop UV induced heat... It's hard to see out the side windows at night for maneuvering around with no external light source. I'll get much lighter tint on my Maverick (except I'll do the windshield the same level as it's really light).

It really is amazing that in bright sunlight, my dash doesn't even heat up. I used to keep a sunshade in my truck. No more.

Got my tints done today! Here in the South Florida sun, you NEED tints. Went extra dark this time around but I went with ceramic tints. Looks very dark from the outside but doesn’t look too dark from the inside. Got 15% on the two front, 70% on the back and rear to have it match the front and 35% in the windshield.

I did 15% front sides and 20% all rear in ceramic (dealer $200). Did not put anything on windshield though clear ceramic would help also and avoided possibility of recalibrating sensors. Amazing how cool inside stays!!!!!
