Im glad my ecoboost doesnt sound like that. It would drive me crazy.
It probably does, it's just muffled when you drive. Put it in park, leave the engine running and open the hood. The recording was right over the fuel pump...

1. No interior color options for each trim
2. No sync 4 or 3 for xlt or xl trims
3. No start button on xlt or xl trims.
1. I hate that I can't brag and impress people how much it costs. I feel cheap for having such a great truck for so little.
2. I hate the ease of getting into it compared to a full size truck.
3. I hate that the bed is so low and accessible.

Hate’s a strong word. Three things I dislike about the Maverick;
Buying the top of the line Lariat does not get you;
1) 360* cameras, not just a backup camera
2) power passenger seats / ventilated seats
3) a more powerful engine like the 2.3 EcoBoost 300hp
Yes it would cost more, yes it will likely happen on the future. But, make it available and let me decide if I want to spend the extra cash. Wishful thinking. I’m happy with my choice and looking forward to taking delivery.

None of that bothered me in the least.

The three things I do hate though, are:
Rattle number one
Rattle number two
Rattle number three

Hoping there is no Rattle number four+

I have a 2015 Edge SEL bought new, loaded and brought up to Titanium standards by the factory.
It has the keyless entry smart-ass fob and push button start, one touch windows, leather, moonroof, etc.
I HATE and loathe the keyless entry.
The car will lock me out sometimes while the wife has the passenger door open !
It works flawlessly sometimes but other times it will take a while to unlock, other times I have had it lock, I unlock it, it relocks and the battle continues until I eventually win.
I have made a few attempts to rip the door off the car but I guess I am not strong enough.
My new 2023 Maverick XLT has a key and I love it.
Leather air conditioned seats would be a nice option and a power adjustable passenger seat might be nice.

My Lariat has a power passenger seat.

I’ll have to wait and see. I thought that was something that was deleted from the ‘24 models.

For 2024, the 500A Lariat group gets 8 way power seat for the driver only. 😒

When I began checking out Maverick, driving couple, surprised, discovered no push button start, like on our Escape Titanium. It’s Key start. So far not minding that, since my 2011 F250 was key start. Managing it.

i guess I can say can “button” start this Maverick using the Ford app on the cell phone, then simply put key in to enable driving off.

That was my goal too. Hopefully, they'll get that sorted out in a few years as well.
Gotta say.... I've had mine for 1.5 years, its been pretty reliable. The only thing that I've been taking it in for is Oil changes and recalls (preventative fixes). I've been very happy with it.

I bought the Lariat for the push button start, the power sliding rear window and the ACC. I just retired in 2021 and none of my past vehicles had push button start. My 2018 F-150 had the power sliding rear window and I used it alot, so that was a must have. This is sort of my 'retirement' truck and I am enjoying it very much! First time having a hybrid and in the hilly terrain of upstate SC, works really well, averaging around 44mpg since buying it. I have not taken any long road trips with it yet, just a few one hour trips each way and mileage was good.
