5 things I hate about my Mav

#5, #4, #3, #2: Have not encountered nor experienced any of these.
#1: Vehemently dislike DRLs no matter where they're located so I have them turned off via the instrument cluster menu. Very first thing I did before driving it off dealer lot.

EDIT: Would have been preferable to me if the key blade extended and retracted by way of a sliding button on the back of the fob instead of having the switchblade button, which I consider an unnecessary bit of "because we can" overdesign..

What do you have against DRLs?

Possible ameliorative?

Pick up one of those pool noodle things, cut it to the length of the rail and then cut a slit along one side of the length of that piece so it can be wrapped around the hard metal of the rail.

awesome idea!!! Much better idea than the tennis balls I was going to slice and put on the ends! I even have a blue pool noodles close to the VB color! TY!

I don’t have any of those issues. My key fobs are not loose….the usb connector doesn’t wiggle….don’t care what the seats are made of. There are advantages and disadvantages to both kind of seats. And lastly the auto high beam threw me off. I don’t care for the feature. Luckily it’s super easy to shit that feature off. So far I’m loving my maverick. I wired in both sides of my bed with lights and plug ins for camping etc.

I've always kept a designated car cable. I thought this was what everyone does lol


I recommend using a high quality OEM USB C. Your AA/carplay experience will be much better with it.

My old beater car I had, I had a two in one car / wall charger that I just took with me. Since the that part of the design was pretty solid I just would leave the cord plugged in. But with a built in USB plug, I'm not risking ruining the receptacle in the truck by making it loose from constantly unplugging anything.
