I suspect I'm gonna be running a wire from front to back to get this done.Unfortunately, I can confirm that the auto lock wires are not present at that location on the XL. Where did you get that diagram? I would be interested to see more of that schematic.
Yessir I believe that will be the solution. Best of luck as you lead us down this pathI suspect I'm gonna be running a wire from front to back to get this done.
Still waiting for my truck to arrive at the dealer, but Iāll definitely share how I do it if nobody beats me to it.Yessir I believe that will be the solution. Best of luck as you lead us down this path![]()
This is for an old model. It cannot be for 2025. I do not think there is a simple replacement cable to work on 2025. We need to tap into the right cable on that big connector at side in a hope the power lock wire in there. I am waiting for someone with a power lock to roll under and take some pictures of their harness. Like I said above, who does have donut spare, no need to remove tire, can hold phone in there and take some pictures. If someone really do not want to.Would be great to see what it looks like on a truck that came equipped with it. I would assume that would explain a lot.
I see this listing on eBay stating it is for the 2025/2026 Maverick. Says both the actuator and the wiring harness. Not my listing, and I have no affiliation with this. I was hoping to see the part numbers. Here is a screen clip of the cable.![]()
