I was just wondering if there were issues. I can normally do one faster unless it's like my wife's van where the bearing on passenger side gets stuck. That one took me 3 hrs at least!
I've seen no change in my mpg due to the trailer module update
I've seen no change in charging scheme at all
I've had the trailer light plugged and unplugged testing it both ways. I didn't see any differences.
my 25XL received the OTA trailer update, the truck still discharges at 92% unless you do one of the 4 things to keep it charging.
So what do you mean it fixed yours?
solve the battery drain, cool
doesn't solve the problem undercharging an agm or sla prematurely wears the battery out.
You keep crying about the drain and keep dismissing the fact that an undercharged battery is also a problem!
We've even given you the proof! But because you work for Ford...
I can confirm on the 25 that plugging something into the trailer light's will cause the AGM battery to charge above 92%. Today I plugged in a taillight that goes into the trailer hitch receiver, and it does in fact trigger the charging just like Mavster said it would!

first i stated the dc/dc converter and how it works
second you don't have to mess with forscan but the battery only charges to 85% sla and 92% agm
unless you turn lights on, turn parking lights on, run fan on speed higher than 5, or plug in a trailer
one of the two guys i mentioned should be able to help.
I know the dealer can change it for you
idk if resetting the bms automatically identifies it or not
the h4 is same price at Walmart just fyi
h5 you'll have to modify to get it in there. go read the threads on charging no reason to go up in size.
make sure you change settings to agm in forscan then do bms reset
charge the agm to 100% then do one of 4 things to keep it charged. headlights always on, parking lights always on, fan on...
