Does anyone know for sure if it is in fact August 1st.... or could this have been more of a teaser and what you are seeing is the first part of "August 1" of "August 19th or 12, or something like that?
Seems like direct reveal for dealers to tell customers that want one . Not like they don’t know people have been following the leaks etc

It would look sooooo much better if it more closely resembled the Explorer

Eh it’s not suv though im not fan the look either lol . Should just kept it the way it is or change it like the Ranger has it. But they did this to make Ranger more popular the 2019 Ranger look isn’t as nice .

Right now it's an Eruption green Lariat Hybrid AWD, unless there's a mystery trim like Lobo or Lightning, then I may be persuaded otherwise. I'm easily distracted by shiny objects.

Normally I'd be excited but all I can think of is the inevitable price hike and ugly new front fascia. Maybe I'll like it in person as that's been the case with refreshes in the past. I'll be quick to say it's ugly over the computer but in person, I may actually like it. Only time will tell. I'm glad they're finally offering Eruption Green. It's too bad it couldn't be offered on the last model year before the facelift.

Meh…the biggest draw for was the low price of the LX, 4k Tow, AWD = 27.3k for my 2023. $80 later, it has the Bronco Sport wheels. You can keep the high priced ugly 2025.

nothing new - they don't come anywhere close to producing as many XLs that are ordered every year
Ford communicates to dealers the % of XL, XLT, Lariat they plan to produce during model year. Unfortunately not a match to what customers order.
At this time of year it's time to compromise and get a truck or risk getting nothing at all. If I had a Private Offer I'd search long and far for an in stock unit.

if Ford think Maverick sales are big now wait till they see how much they can sell of an AWD hybrid XL.
Since many XL buyers seem to want the least expensive vehicle possible, no need for AWD (Hybrid or Eco) or the larger display screen to be offered. Streamline the XL offering to a base FWD with a few color options and keep the MY price increase to a minimum.

I have a Lariat Tremor on order since July 4th. For those with order fulfillment experience, do you think there is a good chance the 2024 model will be delivered, or should I start looking for inventory even if I have to drive to get it?

Do you have a vin or schedule build date yet?
There is still a good chance you will get it. The fastest it could be done is maybe a month to get scheduled and built and a month to get shipped to you. This assumes dealer allocations and no parts on back order.

Did you get an email from ford that they have your order?

Put in an order with Long McArthur. You will get a 24. Especially if you want a Lariat Tremor.

I predict MTC will now experience flame wars, as the 22-24 owners argue with the 25-27 owners about which truck looks better, works better, has better or worse tech, and costs more or less (and of course everyone will ignore inflation when making cost arguments).

This place is gonna get interesting after the first 2025 owners start proudly posting pics of their new babies.
