I predict MTC will now experience flame wars, as the 22-24 owners argue with the 25-27 owners about which truck looks better, works better, has better or worse tech, and costs more or less (and of course everyone will ignore inflation when making cost arguments).

This place is gonna get interesting after the first 2025 owners start proudly posting pics of their new babies.
Front end arguments, no, no way. New front end is garbage. Screen arguments, yes, for sure, since the small screen/cubby is ridiculous.

Do you have a vin or schedule build date yet?
There is still a good chance you will get it. The fastest it could be done is maybe a month to get scheduled and built and a month to get shipped to you. This assumes dealer allocations and no parts on back order.

Did you get an email from ford that they have your order?
I have only received the order acknowledgement via email, but not the VIN. They said in the email that I would next hear from them within 45 days. That would put it near the end of August or sooner before I know if it gets scheduled.

Right now it's an Eruption green Lariat Hybrid AWD, unless there's a mystery trim like Lobo or Lightning, then I may be persuaded otherwise. I'm easily distracted by shiny objects.
I'm in the same boat !
I'd also like a sun/moon roof (I got side swiped in a Rav 4, car was knocked over on iys side and slide across the road, I blacked out for a second. Awoke to smoke coming up from passenger floor boards . Think there was a fire, I scrambled out of the sun roof s fast as I could !!! Turns out it powder from the Air Bags, l0L)
Anyway, I;d like the AWD Hybrid, in the green )unless they bring back Cyber Orange !).

Of course, those models which they can profit from the most are escalated for production the fastest. If that's true, that's quite sad.

sad? Ford makes trucks for profit, not to solve world hunger. same as any other car manufacturer.

I just want adaptive cruise on the xlt.... I don't care how it looks, that is something that can take a while to 'grow' on you...

Excited for the Lobo/ST version, although if it's only available in Lariat trim then might pass. Curious to see the specs on all the other models though, love the front end on the sporty trim!

The only thing I have not yet seen confirmed is memory seats. I will be forced to buy the new Santa Cruz (they finally added it) if Ford does not have it on the Lariat (or other trims). As long as they do, I am full speed ahead with AWD Hybrid Lariat.

interesting that you place so much value in that, and yet my experience is that many people who have it don't even use it.

I definitely don't care. you don't have memory mirrors, or tilt and telescope wheel, so you have to adjust that anyway if someone else drives. it takes a few seconds to the adjust the driver's seat also.

Personally I'd be interested in a powered passenger seat, if only because it be an easy swap in with a harness.

My wife is 5'2" and im 6'5" and we both drive the vehicle often. Steering wheel and windows are quick to adjust I agree, but between seat height, depth and angle and pitch, its not quick to change the seats for us.

The dealer I bought my XL from currently has 10 Mavericks on the lot. All 10 are Lariats. All Ecoboost.
Ford communicates to dealers the % of XL, XLT, Lariat they plan to produce during model year. Unfortunately not a match to what customers order.
At this time of year it's time to compromise and get a truck or risk getting nothing at all. If I had a Private Offer I'd search long and far for an in stock unit.
It's XL or nothing. Just don't like the other interiors!

same amount of time to adjust the mirrors as the seats, I'd bet. within 3 - 5 seconds.

I absolutely would not choose a Santa Cruz over a Maverick because of something like that, when there are HUGE functionality differences such as hybrid, 6" longer bed, easier to reach into bed, price...

I just find it very, very strange that you would choose a lesser vehicle over a minor convenience feature.
