My ‘23 EB, AWD and 4k Tow Package XL was 27.3k OTD. I’m only at 62k miles, but I’ve yet to have any issues except a rebuild on the rearend. It was ‘chattering’ when starting, especially in a turn. All better now, no charge.
I do oil changes at 5-6k miles with whatever the dealer puts in it...
No can do the 37’s, the 35’s are already too much tire for the gears…if I change the gears, might as well change the axles, if I change the tires, gears and axles…….you get the idea. lol
My little truck has been doing great and now has about 58k miles.
A couple of weeks ago I started feeling a slight shudder from the rearend. It felt like the clutch pack was going away. Mostly, I could feel it when starting to drive, especially when turning.
Since the warranty will be going...
The first car I put a header and exhaust on was a buddy’s Toyota in about 1980. It sounded like every other 4 cylinder with aftermarket exhaust……to each their own.
Very nice job on your write up.
Looks good. My 2023 just turned a year old last month. I noticed on the way home from lunch today that I rolled passed 27k miles. No problems and 30mpg on the XL EB TP AWD.
I’ve never experienced the ‘factory tires sub par’ that I hear parroted. My 2013 EB, AWD, Tow Package Maverick is right at 27k miles on the factory tires and they look to be good for another 20k miles or so.
Ive had a bunch of them, but that’s my keeper. Dad bought it new in 1966. He said there were 5 pages of options. He got the HiPo engine, deluxe interior, chrome delete and several other options. I run it in the 1/4 mile and auto Ross.
12 months old, 25k miles, zero issues and 30mpg in my 2023 XL EB AWD Tow Package.
It’s about 3 hours old here - working already.
I have added a few things. Here it is now.
