I'm just wondering if this will definitely be the year that the Maverick undergoes a mid-cycle refresh and will possibly offer more features/a mild facelift. I figured since this will be the Maverick's fourth model year (which is hard to believe already) it's gotta be time for some slight changes. It would be nice if ventilated seats were offered at least on the Lariat trim and some upgraded exterior cosmetics such as full LED taillights/reverse lights, LED front turn signals, or add fog lights. What would you like to have offered on the '25 Maverick?

I would like to see Ford get back to the original idea of a basic, affordable Maverick for working people without big budgets. Make it possible to order an XL hybrid without waiting years. The market is already flooded with high end luxury trucks.

I heard a Ford dealership employee whom I consider a very reliable, informed source state that 2025 will be a refresh. Absolutely no details as to what or when that would be announced.

That said, I want a Maverick ST. Something with more power, that's fine if it is still a 2.0, but a 2.3 would be welcome. They should offer a handling package as well, but don't make it exclusive to the ST. Let people lower them from the factory.

It would be nice if they offered a "Base" model, then the XL, XLT and Lariat. The base would be kind of a work truck but you could order the things you need ala carte.

You have don’t need to wait for an ST release.
Have one NOW!

Check out the stuff at:

There’s lowering springs and power upgrade bolt-ons.

They’re also a sponsor of MTC

I'm well aware of that, and I'd rather wait to see what Ford does.

I consider this like early 2002 when the WRX had been on the market for a year and people were happy to finally have their turbo Subaru. But then just a few months later... the Evo8 and WRX STi were announced to be coming.

I can always modify my Maverick later if nothing comes in MY25, without any real regret. But I'd definitely regret it the MY25 has significant upgrades that you can't easily adapt to a MY22-24. I get it that some folks don't see it as an either/or. But my wife sure would. :ROFLMAO:

I do wish they'd offer a tow-prep package, given the large number of us buying Hybrid Mavericks to Flat-tow. Probably $100 worth of metal and wiring by Ford could easily bring a $1000 package fee.

I just bought the DEMCO towbar baseplate for $782 delivered, and I'll have to install it and wire up the lights myself. I'd love to have a Ford factory option, and might even spend $1500 for Ford to set all that up for me. @Ford Motor Company

No Thanks by 2025 and more price increases will defeat the original purpose for this truck in the first place.

I’d love to see an ST trim that is factory lowered and obviously they should do an AWD hybrid. Probably an EV.

And those would have little overlap with their other trucks, which I presume is why they don’t make enough Mavericks, cannibalization. But personally I wasn’t cross shopping the Maverick with a Ranger or F150.

Hell yes!! And make them all able to tow a minimum of 4K lbs. That will keep a lot of us in the Maverick field rather than bouncing over to something like the Ranger, or other available brands. Until Tacoma changes its front seating, that's a big ol' NOPE for me. Sitting with your legs that far out in front of you is for riding gaited horses, not trying to ride comfortably in a truck.
