2023 Hybrid Delivery Time

So I intended to buy the 2022 Maverick, but ended up buying a Mustang instead. A year later, and I’m back on the Maverick train. I want to get the 2023 hybrid Mav XLT in Area 51, with just a drop in bedliner and 4 pin hitch, but I’m worried/intrigued about how long the hybrid Mavs have been taking to get delivered.

What’s been the average for everyone with a hybrid Mav? Is there any info on if it’ll be faster this year? Will my add-ons cause a delay?

My Lariat hybrid is tracking for 11 months. I would say best case for your XL would be 6. But none of us know for sure.

My XL Hybrid was built in 8 months. Over 2 months later, I’m still waiting for delivery. However, it does seem to be well worth the wait from what I’ve generally read. They would have to get thru the 22MY orders first. Who knows how many are in that group. They would probably roll over to MY 23.

Ordered lariat lux hybrid on Jun 22, 2021. Picked up May 17th. Don’t add anything besides a package. This will hold up the order. Accessories like all weather floor mats, tailgate damper, etc can be ordered online or from the dealership. Plus Ford will give you 42,000 points towards accessories which comes out to about $215.

Crazy, seems like they really are dealing with recall style items? Wonder if the wiring harness is part of that.

I'm thinking order MY23 (Hybrid) with whatever you want in it and hope it gets rolled over to MY24 and a PHEV!

No end in site for supply constraints. My guess is all vehicle manufacturers will continue to limp along in 2023. So guess 2023 will be like 2022.

Some 2023 will get rolled over into 2024 like the 2022s.

I'm assuming no major surprises. Might even see less vehicles built 2023.

Awe man everyone, that sucks. I feel so bad for the people who ordered a year ago and are still waiting. That would stress me out. All of that has me wondering if I should just get the Ecoboost instead…
