The clear flaw in that was all ordered for the 2023 took place in about 4 days. So obnviiuos that has to be spread out across the entire year.

Unless they only took orders for the first 6 months Ford cannot deliver them all within 143 day. If they did only accept 6 months in orders that would be smart then reopen the Maverick for new orders in 5 or 6 months to close out 2023.

Hey I HOPE your right. I did consider that was only 6 months worth of what ford thought they could build. Guess will see.

The first 2023 Maverick to be delivered could likely be in mid-to-late December 2022. And here's the kicker, it will go to someone who just placed a brand-new, 2023 order, not someone who didn't get their 2022 and had to RE-ORDER Hope everyone has their pitchforks ready

I think this depends on how the dealer prioritizes them. But you would like to think this is the case. LM said they had orders coming in for 22 customers that had to reorder 23's. But not sure every dealer is handling it that way.

Interesting time for delivery. 143 days for a 5 day week is 28.6 weeks not counting holidays. With all the orders being taken within a two week window someone is going to be waiting a long time. I do not know the production rate at this plant but when I worked on the Dodge truck line in Fenton Mo. in 1970 we. Kicked out a truck a minute. That would equal about 480 trucks in a 8 hour day And that would be about 124,000/year. All I can say is someone in the order pool is going to be waiting a lot longer than 143 days. Someone posted the percentages for the 3 trim levels and hybreds. Ford can mix the trim levels on the same line with the build sheets that move on the line with the truck so I do not seeing them running batches of a certain trim level. Does anyone know how many 2022 trucks have been built. How many 2022 are being converted to 2023 models are to be filled before the new orders. It is time to wear your patients pants. I also heard Ford has 40000 to 45,000 trucks held up for part shortages. Too many variables to believe the 143 days from order right now. Patients

The production plant in Mexico makes the Bronco Sport as well, so it is a shared facility.

Mine took 320 days from order on december 28th 2021 to me picking it up on november 14th. I would say 143 days is pretty reasonable. Back in 1994 when I special ordered my silverado new i waited over 6&1/2 months.
