I ended up ordering the vLinker FS as posted on the Forscan sight. I'll get Forscan once that comes in. I'm hoping to find in Forscan the procedures to change the rear brakes (deactivate the EPB and to activate it once I change the rear rotors and pads). Hopefully it is similar to what was...
Thanks. It looks like that is the direction to go. I have no clue how to use it but your pictures show me what I need to look for. One question, would something like the picture below also allow me to get into Forscan? Thanks again for the response. My XL doesn’t hand the cruise control and so I...
Thanks for the reply.
I saw a video where a guy tried the procedure but during the procedure he kept turning the key on and off and a screen came up to press the brake and pull up on the EPB. I ended up doing that randomly, I’m not sure I could repeat the exact same steps but I also got the...
So I’m reading through this brake maintenance mode as I want to replace my rear brakes on my 22 hybrid. I was able to activate the brake maintenance mode, but can’t seem to deactivate that mode. Having the truck on, then pressing the gas pedal, pulling up on the EPB, pressing the brake pedal for...
I ended up taking those female connectors off and moved it up about 3/4” and it looks much better. The lack of latching the panels down has not made a difference when traveling.
Already broke even or better on my 22XL Hybrid with 29k miles. Love it. I don’t need 4k tow, but wouldn’t mind awd. Mine was cheaper than the ECO also for the 22 model. I guess I was fortunate that way.
Bought mine 8/2/22 and have over 16k trouble free miles. I have not had any recall or TSB service performed. I did have an oil change and tire rotation done. Lifetime 40 mpg with mixed highway and city driving.
I think because of the clicking in hybrids, that’s why they recommend not letting it set for more than 2 weeks without it starting as that may have an impact on running down the 12v Battery.
I’ll be trying the ford pass remote start this summer when we are away to see if that indeed helps.
No regrets on my 22XL Hybrid with over 14k miles. I’ve been able to add things I wanted compared to the XLT at a much lower cost. I agree with some of the comments regarding the infotainment (my 12 Honda Insight had more info on the hybrid system). But, I get better mpg’s than it did. At $22.5k...
