How much was it? Love the Colorado, but am very unfamiliar with Chevy. Also, I’ve noticed a lot of mid size pickups can match the Maverick Eco in fuel economy. I drove the 2022 Frontier (one of my fave trucks to date), and it blew me away with 26 mpg mixed driving!

Good for you. What Ford offers honestly isn’t worth it at this point. I never even ordered, but just hearing the horror stories has made me check into the Hyundai crew. Now I just have to see how quickly they can get the Santa Cruz I want in.

And taking that new info into account, I think I’m going to go buy something else. Ridiculous.

No. It’s been confirmed that they open August 2nd. Not sure why people are still debating that. It’s just Ford doesn’t have anything ready for August 2nd it seems.

I thought I was going to get to go in and order on the 2nd, but my dealer just told me he wants to wait and see what happens on the 2nd before having anyone order. If the dealerships don’t even have an idea of what’s going on, it‘s really bad.

I actually noticed the same thing at my dealer this weekend. They had an FX4 Lariat and FWD XL, both Ecoboost, and the FWD was noticeably taller. I thought I was losing my mind. Also, a taller truck doesn’t mean more ground clearance. Depends more on what’s underneath.

My dealer said August 2nd and set up and appointment with me to order.

I think that’s considered abnormal and a bad sign. I’ve heard some dealers don’t know how to properly submit your order. I think most people had gotten their confirmation just a little bit after it was submitted.

I believe dealers have said certain trucks are going to take longer due to Ford not having the parts on hand. I’ve heard the Lariat is going to take longer, spray in beds, and certain bed covers are going to as well.
