0 to 60 Maverick times

Hey guys. I have seen videos of mavericks getting some pretty good 0 to 60 times. Low to mid 6's. Mine is hovering in the mid to high 7 range. It has the Turbo, lower gear ratio and sport mode. Any ideas, tips or suggestions? Thanks folks!

What size tire? Are you using a dragy? Using the speedo and a stop watch aren't accurate. I run 6.1 to 6.5 depending on temp with 235/65/17 Falken Wildpeaks. Ran a 6.1 in cool temps of 52 or so. Heat soak will hurt 0-60s. Ran a 6.6 in 90+.

I have had identical motorcycles in every way except color . one had better grunt at low end and the other had a higher top end speed . both were good bikes .

I have the stock continental tires. 225/65/17. I did add a k and n filter. And it is in the 90's here. No dragy. Trying to just use a stop watch. Thanks!

You're probably quicker than you think. I'd say mid to high 6s in those temps.

do you have max tow package (3.83 gear ratio)? run premium fuel?

Use 91 octane.

If you use 87 , the computer will limit the horse power down to prevent engine knocking.

Geez ! My runs like a scalded cat when l gas ( 87 regular) it and turbo kicks in . mpg suffers when you kick in turbo . l do drive speed limit 99% of time . averaging 23 .5 mpg city driving .

I am getting 31 mpg's with it on 87. All highway miles, though.

No. There is an octane 88 option at some Sheetz, though!

Nighowl is correct. I ran mid 6s on 87. Gained almost 0.2 on 93 fuel.

I believe the 2.0L ecoboost loses 9 hp using 87 vs. 93 octane.
