Sofyan just did 6.4 seconds in the Ecoboost and 7.5 seconds with the Hybrid. Maybe C&D is averaging 3 runs in a row, as after the first run the battery on the hybrid is probably depleted.
7.5 is a great number for the Hybrid. That's about the same as my current 2008 Kia Sorento with a 260hp v6!

Yup, its all about power to weight ratio, and probably doesn't hurt that Sofyan is light in the loafers. :p

I don't know how many people are cross-shopping a Maverick and a 1970 Camaro, but I thought you'd like some data for comparison.

Chevrolet Camaro 307 V-8 Turbo-Fire Hydra-Matic (aut. 3) 0-60 mph 9.4 seconds 13.3mpg
Chevrolet Camaro 350 V-8 Turbo-Fire Hydra-Matic (aut. 3) 0-60 mph 7.9 seconds 11.8mpg
Chevrolet Camaro SS 396 Hydra-Matic (aut. 3) 0-60 mph 6.1 seconds 9.2mpg

9 mpg for the SS Camaro? Wow, guessing it didn’t sting that much at the pumps when gas was 49 cents? Per gallin

And motortrend as 6.9 seconds for eco and 8.5 for hybrid. A lot of dispersion in these 0-60 times.
