I contacted Ford Chat last night asking for the rail car number. The rep wouldn't give me that (claimed that she couldn't find it) but she did state that the system said the last known update is that it had already crossed Nogales and was in "Junction Point (Union Pacific)".

Not sure where that is but it seems very quick given that I got the shipping status on 5/8, but maybe it actually shipped out a few days prior to the tracker. In either case, my ETA is 5/19-6/1, so fingers crossed it lands within that window, hopefully on the earlier side.

From what I've heard, numerous chat reps have been very reluctant to provide railcar numbers of late. We'll see if I can get one, not holding my breath.

Another recent Horsham buyer reported the following timeline:

You're in the "lots of patience" phase. For reference in setting expectations, my travel times were:

1. Rail travel: 3/25-4/17
2. Waiting to unload at Port of DE: 4/17-4/22
3. Waiting for a United Road hauler: 4/22-5/1
4. Prep time at Chapman: 5/1-5/2 + two more days waiting for temp tags

37 days total transit from Hermosillo to Chapman, and then a few more for prep and delivery.

So I'm managing my expectations accordingly...

Yes, you usual go into production about a week before the actual build date.

Just got the email from Ford yesterday that said my Maverick was "Built." Has anyone calculated the average time between "built" and "delivered"? I am not the best searcher and I could not find anything.
