Well, Tim @fordvideoguy did say that they won't have their March allocations figured out until the end of the week. So this is pretty much expected.
@fordvideoguy anticipated 80 allocations for March. That was based off of the sales of 17 Mavericks which turned into 7. That means the March number could be 90 instead of 80.

Monthly allocations are based off of sales, current inventory projected sales and more. When @fordvideoguy asks the Zone Manager for supplemental allocations (on top of their original request) the 80 could go to 90 based on the previous month's shortfall.

In February Long McArthur scheduled all 30 Mavs the first week and it's the reason they're the number one seller in their region.

The key in each week's scheduling is the Regional Scheduler can change a priority 2 order to a 1. If the commodities for a priority 2 aren't on hand the vehicle is passed over while 1's get a scheduling date.

My question to @fordvideoguy is: "Is it true higher volume dealerships will deliver your order faster".

Would a person want to be number 5 of 10 at a small dealership or 265 of 531 (individual retail orders at LM)?

@fordvideoguy offered the perfect analogy during last Saturday's member only Saturday lot walk video. Member ship costs the equivalent of one cup of Starbucks coffee per month by the way. His logic goes as follows: if two parties show up at a crowded restaurant and the first party needs four seats (a hybrid XL with sliding rear window and trailer receiver) and the second party needs eight seats ( Lariat Lux with CP260). With the current state of constraints, which party is likely to be seated first?

Has a dealer done their due diligence on June and July orders in priority 2 purgatory with regards to confirmed, unscheduled and clean requirements? How many outstanding orders did they modify so the Monday Scheduling Toolbox Report's commodity issues doesn't affect their orders? This prevents surprises on the Tuesday AM Scheduling Preview report. Ditto if there were any changes on the Wednesday morning report. Finally, do dealers respond to the Regional Schedule's Wednesday afternoon report in case orders specifications are not what the customer wanted (kind of a dealer level QA of their orders)?

My question is how informed, involved and dedicated are dealerships when it comes to the procedures in place to expedite retail orders from WBDO to driveway? Do you have a "Better Idea" than Ford?

There should be a class action suit against Ford for those of us who ordered our trucks in the first three months when we were told to expect our trucks in the fall of 2021 and they knew that they didn't have EPA authorization for the hybrids! I ordered mine on June 25th and because my dealer obviously ordered too many trucks I don't expect mine till after the one year anniversary.
Ford should pay for our transportation charges..... I called Ford last week and they sent me a $100 gift thing to buy Ford ****. F++c them!!!!
I was told to expect my build date late this month or in Early April. I'm not holding my breath.

At what point do I just give up? Ordered last September. No communication since. Been bouncing between borrowed vehicles and rental cars, now finally driving an ancient 1990 Mazda pick up from my backyard that's held together with duct tape and hope.

Who did you call? The dealership or Ford? My dealership always just says "You will hear before we do", and the one time I tried calling Ford the rep was clueless and just transferred me back to my dealership...

Great job on this post. One thing I do want to clear up is that I mentioned 80 vehicles we are expecting to receive not allocations. I mentioned 17 for February and 80 for March that we were expecting to land at the dealer from past allocations from November/December when we received 100+ allocations. That was how many that are in the scheduling/production to arrive at the dealer not how many allocations we were expected to receive. I will talk about the number of allocations to schedule we will get next week when we get the final number.

Thanks again for being a loyal follower of the streams.

Hi Tim, and thanks for your continued focus on keeping us all informed! I realize there is no scheduling for this week, but one clarification - are you not expecting to learn your March allocations number until next week?

Exactly. This is just another slap in the face. I meant couldn’t they give us a monthly calendar of when they aren’t building? Not knowing is just really bizarre to me. I was excited because I felt pretty positive that it was finally going to be scheduled. Now I have to take my 2005 Mustang into the shop with 105k miles on it.

I jump shipped and ended up buying a Prius (don't ask me why I still poke around on the forum.. bored I guess), but I still get frustrated for everyone when I see the lack of progress...

With my luck I was fully expecting a build date email this week, but the fact I did not get one just reassured me I made the right decision. Looks like next week is further reassurance.
I am also considering going for a full EV (looking at the Ioniq5) at this point. Gonna give it a couple of more weeks to see if I an email.

I'm so confused, my dealer says will be built March 15th-17th, but when I go to the tracker all it says is confirmed.

Seems to me, a lot of us disgruntled wanna-be customers overlooked perhaps the most important factor in getting scheduled, which is making sure your dealer didn't stuff the regional scheduler in their locker back in high school.
