I am getting very frustrated.

So I got this maverick not quite a week ago.
There is lot of things to learn about this truck and I am an old dog (75 in two days).
I have been working on and with computers for the last 30 years.
I am not so familiar with phones and tablets.
I got Ford pass and so on but I cannot find the Ford navigation maps on my sync 4.
I have been fighting with it probably 4 hours today and I logged in Alexa and this junk but to no avail.
Now I even lost google maps.
I need help.

IIRC, you bought a XLT, which does not have Connected Navigation, so you'll need to use your phone for that. What cell phone do you have?

On my phone Ford pass, they tell me that I have free Ford connect until the end of 2025.
I have an Android phone.
Yesterday I was able to have google maps on the display but not today.

I tried to upload an image several times but it did not work

I just run android auto and it uses google maps. Even tells me if there is reported hazards in the road, accidents, or police action ;-)

Usually that happens when the image is too large. Resize the pic and try re-uploading it.

Frenchy, I get it . I am also not good with this technology, so I try to use what I can, leave the rest alone.

Can you go to your dealer to get help? Just a thought. That's what I would do, and then take notes for later reference.

Frenchy, just because I always put others before my own needs, I'm going to take that nasty old 2025 off your hands and give you my practically perfect 2024 as a replacment. I'll even show you how to works the maps and all the buttons when I'm there, too.

Turn it off and then back on again, your phone that is. Also check that Bluetooth is turned on for your phone.

You should also be able to unpair your phone from your car from the screen in the car to retrigger the Android Auto wireless connection if you continue to have issues.

Sometimes I have to unlock the phone for the Android auto to work. Most of the time I don't.
