Edit’ I ordered the 51hs10 going to do a test by hooking it up to my current car since it’s already wired and such. If I am satisfied with its output. Think that’s what I’m going to do, really like the idea of keeping the rear seats space open more I think about it.

don’t have a trunk per say, unlike my car. So that would be my trunk space for misc stuff

if it sucks, will be returning to Best Buy.
Will report back how it sounds

You’re awesome! That is an awesome little benefit install wise. Could be the shortest install time of any vehicle I ever owned lol

Will install a battery tender pigtail as well, assuming one on positive battery terminal and then a ground not on battery that way the bms system detects/tracks charging into it

It threw me off because I’ve seen pics of batteries in engine bays, was unaware they was ecoboost and different than hybrids
Use the Under hood jump points for a battery tender. Again, as others have told you, don't connect the tender direct to the negative terminal. But to any GROUND under the hood is fine.

I have my tender pigtail to the main ground under the hood and to the positive terminal of the battery. But the hybrid has a positive post under the hood that you can connect to. Here is a great long battery tender pigtail that I used....... 6 ft long and it can stick out of your front grill a lil bit and not have to pop the hood or open the rear seat to get to the pigtail end. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PY7JPYJ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1

Thanks shrek. I’m planning on ordering my vehicle tomorrow. So here comes my 6 month wait before I do anything

which is fine, gives me time to save up I guess for payment deposit

Hey guys! I drove a 24 lariat today, and I gotta say, the speakers sounded really good to me! Even the little woofer had more kick than I imagined it would. And after getting hands on with it, I want to keep all my under seat space.

im going kicker hideaway behind bench route. That’s what I’m doing. The amp that is with the speaker on rear wall, is that just for the little woofer? Or is that an amp for all speakers? Need to find out if I need to remove that or leave it.

I ordered mine today. Fingers crossed I get it sooner than later

The amp on the rear passenger wall is for all 7 your speakers.

I figured as much, just wanted to double check. I’m sure there’s enough room to fit the hideaway in there somewhere on the wall. Can’t wait

Honestly for the price of the kicker hideaway you'd be better off removing the b&o sub & tapping its wires for a signal and installing a sub under your driver side rear seat. A 8-in or 10 in shallow mount will hit three times harder than that kicker hideaway ever will.

I have the EcoBoost so I installed my 10" sub box on the passenger side. My sub amp is where the b&o amp would be, since I have an XLT there was no b&o amp in the way. I installed my bass knob behind the headlight switch for convenience and aesthetics.

I’m removing factory sub and using stock wires to power the hideaway correct, after seeing the space I really want to use the under seat storage. If I was surprised by the little basic sub, I bet the kicker hideaway will be plenty for the small cabin. If I don’t like it I can return it and go larger.

The kicker hideaway was 277 Black Friday and 295 til last night. Bet it drops to 250 this year. Will set an alert for price drop.

Hybrid only has half of that storage space, after seeing it and such, it’s valuable storage real estate
Your install looks great!

The sound decision box I posted that is just the empty box that's made for a hybrid.

It’s very nice but then I lose all that space, I need it for workout belts, jackets, and Costco freezer bags. lol

I saw a 25 Maverick yesterday and pulled the rear seat down, and saw this stuff (took off Google) the dsp is for all the system so I need to leave it, but would plop the sub and use its wires for hideaway

but is there enough room to put a hideaway back there w the stock amp? Maybe I can relocate it, pull off the mount and use Velcro stick it somewhere on wall. Make room for a hideaway

and there’s other stuff on the right of it. I’m not seeing any of this in the pics of people w hideaway subs, all they have is a board w sub installed.

Going to go on a limb and say they aren’t hybrids and nor do they have the lariat bo system in all the pics I’ve found

potentially, I could put under passenger front seat, pull the vent thing off I read people do but I’d rather leave that incase I get guest but if I had to I would if can’t make room on the wall

what’s this thing that looks to be tied up? Maybe remove that and move the stock amp down there, opens wall up for sub

Ford Maverick Adding subwoofer to lariat advice. B&O IMG_3221

anyone happen to know what style female clip is on the sub? If I bought one for a buck or two I can make a factory quick connect into kicker incase needed to go back stock for sell or something—- it might be this
