This is a legit ask. The only time I use the heated seats on my Nissan is when the button gets hit acidentally and my butt gets hot.

As others have said, you can turn them off during auto start in the dash menu settings, but sometimes the truck will do what the truck will do. I've turned off both seat warmers and heated steering wheel in mine, but if I auto start when its cold out, the wheel heater still comes on every time.

They won't turn on unless you push a button to turn them on.am i missing something?
If others are driving my car they may turn it on and wonder why they cannot feel any heat, and my wife always plays with the controls - heat, radio, vents, whatever. She is too hot, she is too cold, the air is blowing the wrong way, etc.
If I can disconnect it that is one less thing she or the kids do not monkey with.

Good Idea. I will have to look for that fuse.

If you do anything clever to disable the seat heaters, please write a note inside the cover of the owners manual saying what was done.

Pull fuse and leave in glovebox with note for when you trade it in and forget.

We love the heated seats. We don't buy a vehicle without them. Up here in the North the only time the heated seats are off for the whole month is July and August.

Yep. We have 10 months of heated seats and heated steering wheel and 2 months of lousy skiing.

Not sure if this will help or just confuse the issue, but I seem to grab stuff I may never need about my Maverick. One of those items was a scanned copy of the Ford Maverick 2022 Wiring Diagram. Here is what is shows for Heated/Vented Seats.

This is a joke, right? Just push off the buttons and leave them off.
That was my first thought of a reply, but upon further reading of the post, OP wants to disable them completely so that they are not accidentally left on.

Especially if somebody else is ever going to own the truck in the future.

Before the drones start.
Yes I know the OP wants to disable it, because everybody gets in his truck and touches all of his knobs.

[/QUOTE]

It’s not “everyone” that fiddles with all his knobs.

It is primarily his wife that he wants to restrict from using the seat heater.

To me, it appears that she is convinced that she can feel the heat coming from the seat heater, despite the thick aftermarket seat cover.

And it also appears to me that he thinks that the seat heater is going to damage the seat, or at least damage the aftermarket seat cover, since it is producing thousands of watts of heat that can not escape into the seat occupant, and it is wrapped in space-suit quality insulation, built into the aftermarket seat cover.

Otherwise, if these 2 belief states did not exist, why would you circumvent your wife’s autonomy over the temperature control of her own seat?
