My Mav has been wandering a bit lately.
I checked the on board pressure which read 31 psi all around. I inflated to the recommend 35 psi using a trusty guage of my own. The Mav display now shows 42 psi.🤔 Has anyone else found that the on board display is not accurate, any way to calibrate it if so?

Thank you!

I've had the truck onscreen TPMS read different pressures on two consecutive days, when my manual gauges didn't change more than a pound.

Not sure if the onscreen TPMS reading is very accurate or not. It is very handy though, to give a ballpark pressure reading. If one tire consecutively shows much lower than the others, I check the TP.

Hmmm🤔
I'm trying a few different guages now to see what's up, I guess we'll see in time.
I hope it's not a matter of resetting the TPMS occasionally!

Are you checking stone cold, or after driving a bit? I easily see a 5-6psi difference between 25/30F and 70/80F. My dash display is right on the money compared to multiple other gauges.

TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM PRECAUTIONS

Ford Maverick On Board Tire Pressure Reading {filename}
WARNING: The tire pressure monitoring system is not a substitute for manually checking tire pressures. You should periodically check tire pressures using a pressure gauge. Picked my truck up from the dealer three days ago. Checked the TPM today and it said 40,40,40,39. Will try to check tomorrow with several gages to see if there is any agreement.

They ship them with higher pressure.

I use the AstroAI Digital, also. It matches up with on screen psi. Just make sure you are on the PSI scale. There are 4 different settings.

Its the Computer..
I have been running on Factory Connie's for six months now. (these were take-offs from another Maverick, Steelies too). That did not come with TPMS's.

I get a tire pressure warning, after driving for 25+ miles.. An than every 10 or so, after that.
When, I get back to my garage. The truck senses My Original set, stacked up about five feet away and is content again..😉
Two days ago, it was telling me my Left Front was only at 27 psi.. 😄

I DO Check my tires very often (visually and when anything feels wonky) and do a PSI check, once a month.. I come from a family of auto mechanics...

So Far, So Good.. 😎
