I battled this for 25,000 miles but mine also wandered. Recently the right front started shaking only upon excelleration. I had the CV Axle changed and the difference is night and day. Though the Maverick tracks staight, I can feel the left front slightly pulling left to right, that axle is...
Just sitting here with not much to do. Looking at the rear bumper at this angle it doesn't look great.
I'm wondering why it wasn't designed to blend straight down with the tailgate? IMO, no step up is needed.
Not enough length/room because of the drive train and hitch?
I know this an old post, but wanted to thank everyone. All of you were correct in the diagnosis. Someone recommended the Michelin Defender2's which I just had mounted today, a world of different, no wandering whatsoever, very quiet and handle well!
Anyways, thank you all for your time and input🙏🙏
Thanks 710-oil, I appreciate the concern, but am well aware of my head getting smashed🤪
Been under many vehicles in my 56 years and am still breathing😀
It's looking like, from responses, is to buy another jack to use on the front sides in order to lift the front.
Anyone know where the jacking point is to lift the front end without damage?
I need to check steering components as the Maverick won't track straight, it's driving me crazy🤨
Alignment isn't an issue and at one point radial pull was found to be the issue, but I have my doubts now as it's...
I have the same issue, pretty annoying having to use the phone to stick the key in. I drive mine daily, so I'd imagine it's not a deep sleep or low battery issue. Asked the guy doing a recall if he could fix it, but he stumbled with words, really didn't know what he was saying.
Hopefully...
How is the overlap front to back? Does the rear portion but up against the tailgate or overlap it?
I have the factory hard roll up and it's short front to back, it leaks horribly, no way to remedy this unless someone knows how to stretch it😳
Thank you for any help!
At someone's request, I tried wedging a thin piece of plastic between the passenger side pillar and dash, this worked for a couple of weeks. Finally got around to trying again😳 This time, I stuffed as much as the foam door gap sealer stuff (made for air gaps on a house door) between the...
Thanks for all of the input, some interesting stuff!
I've used 3 different guages, 2 of the 3 read the same as the on board display, I'm gonna toss the off guage and go with that🙃😉
Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to everyone!!
