No Maverick Scheduling Next Week (11/8)

How did you find out? (Mine's scheduled for the week of December 13th, too.)

On Oct 21 I received an email from Ford giving me my build week date of Dec 13. Eight days later, on Oct 29, I received another email that my build would be moved back three weeks to Jan 3rd. I am half expecting to be moved again.

Think of it this way guys, yes it sucks that we all ordered when back when and we thought we would have had a new toy for Christmas or which ever holiday you celebrate. But the longer ours come in hopefully you will have saved more for it either towards a down payment or even pay for the flipping thing in cash. But also that gives other drivers time to find out what potential problem are starting to happen, so that when ours do come in they have parts, tech bulletin to share etc.

Kind of expected long delays as the dealer said 8-12 weeks. Perhaps it will be 8 months as ordered Oct 24th. Actually was hoping for delivery after winter.

Winter ends in March. I’m hoping for delivery before the Summer Solstice.

I wouldn't say I've been patient. LOL. Obsessive, i've changed my build twice since my original order, spend WAY too much time on the forum, and have started annoying local dealers looking for an ecoboost because I'm gettin twitchy waiting for my hybrid. haha

It might be helpful for folks who've been rescheduled to describe what they ordered and what date the order was confirmed (unless it's already in your signature). That way perhaps we can notice if there's a correlation of an item that's causing the rescheduling. Just a thought.

What model did you order? I ordered November 3rd, XLT Eco Boost with Luxury and FX4 packages. Dealer said tops 3 months. Is it really just hybrids seeing long delays?

My dealer said zilch about wait times.

It seems that if it is going to be 6+ months the dealer or Ford would provide an estimated delivery date.

I think you're right about Ford screwing people who ordered a Maverick. I don't understand why there's a single stock Ecoboost truck out there to buy when you still have hundreds of retail orders to still fill! Once the OKTB for Hybrid comes through there shouldn't be a single stock Hybrid built until all the retail orders are fulfilled! Yet I'm sure stock Hybrids will show up at some dealerships, even though Ford has said they will only make retail Hybrids first! So we'll see what the new year brings with production.

Ya my local dealer has an ecoboost model on his lot for sale marked up of course.

They generally start one day and show built the next. At least mine did. 10/13-14.

It actually came on the morning of my birthday last Wednesday. I was able to pick it up that afternoon.
