I installed the underbody cover today, no issues with fit. One tip, there were 2 electrical connectors on my 2024 Lariat that had to be unclipped from their push through attachments. One uses the hole for a bracket, the other further to the rear hangs down and keeps the cover from going into place. I congratulate Mabett for a well implemented product, packaging was beyond excellent. My only suggestion would be that the 2 supplied bolts be a little longer.

Sounds like leaving all the bolts loose until the panels are placed is the key.
That’s really standard practice for assembling most anything with multiple fasteners unless there are precision alignment elements.

I ordered the Mabett underbody shield along with their mudflaps on 11/11/24. I received the mudflaps in three days. I did not find a discount code for the underbody shield. It is supposed to be delivered between the 17th and the 20th of November. On Amazon it shows it is unavailable. I will wait and see.

is there a way to get amazon to alert me when this is back in stock? I thought there was but I'm just not seeing it. Sometimes I can easily miss what's right in front of me so I ask the question.

The next batch is already on its way to Amazon's warehouse. I'll update you once it arrives.

Did you purchase the underbody shield at full price? Please send me your order number, and I can refund you the price difference.

Installed mine today. Very surprised at how much stuff was up there - dirt, pine needles, etc...even after spraying underneath. These will definitely help keep that from happening.

Good tips in here - for the most part was pretty straightforward and I think the product is pretty well designed and fits well. I did have the extra connector mentioned above that I unclipped (think it's for rear sensors), but otherwise the product fit well around everything else.

I did add a piece of foam tape to the forward edge of the panel closest to the tire. Figured if the point is to keep stuff out of there might as well do the best I can. Otherwise anything that does get in might end up trapped.

My only real issue is the hardware. The two forward bolts that fit in the cage nuts are absolutely too short. I have them installed now without the lock washers and I am going to get longer bolts. They look to be M12x1.75 and I think around 25mm length would be perfect for fitting in there. Not sure if the originals have any protection on them, they appear very shiny. I'm going to get at least zinc coated -- or maybe spring for stainless if I can find them. Wasn't a fan of the style of spring washers included, so I will probably replace those and the other washers as well. If anyone wants to change out the smaller hardware also, it looks to be M6x1 and around 12mm in length.

Thank you for your detailed feedback and helpful tips. I have passed along your suggestions regarding the bolt lengths to our product development team.

If those are M12's, Home Depot carries a 30mm serrated flange bolt, which should work well w/the aluminum.

Thanks for replying. My order #114-8788114-2168226. The order number included the mudflaps. It looks like the shields will arrive on this week. Thanks again.

Thanks. I installed mine last weekend and the length of those bolts was the only issue I had.
