I ordered one that I plan to try on my 25, when it gets here. If it doesn't fit, I'll put it on the 22 that I'm going to take to Iowa. That would help it out a bit for the winter.
As soon as you get your 2025, look and see if this is going to work. Let the rest of us waiting for our 2025 to get to us.

First, kudos to Mabett for bringing this to market. I installed this yesterday and am really impressed with the engineering and quality of the product. I did spend a little longer than I would have liked trying figure how and where to hang the little brackets and then getting the little bolts threaded into these to secure the metal plate was a pain as well. However, as others have stated just loosely thread all the other bolts then go about getting these last two lined up and threaded. A scratch awl came in handy for this purpose along with some pushing up on the metal plate and keeping the pressure to start the bolts once lined up (slightly longer bolts would have been nice). Now, I do have a tip to pass along that has not been addressed. I had a hell of a time trying to thread the large supplied bolts onto the cage nuts, I believe you will too but I have a solution. It just came down to the fact that once these bolts are loaded up with the supplied lock washer and flat washer they are just a little too short to catch the threads of the cage nuts no matter how I tried. I noticed that the lock washer was really sprung kind of aggressively and took up a lot of space along the length the already "stubby" bolt. So, I took each lock washer and "adjusted" it by putting in the vice and bending with pliers to take much of the spring out of the washers and "flatten' them out a bit. Once I did that I was able to easily thread the stubby bolts into the cage nuts. If you don't have a vice, you could do the same with two pairs of pliers and apply the same opposing bends on the washers. That's my tip, just "adjust" those lock washers a bit before even wrestling with them under the vehicle.
Thanks for your detailed feedback and the helpful tip!

Just install mine today. You will need a 10mm and 18 mm socket and rachet. The two large screws are very tight I used a breaker bar for them. Everything fits well. The instruction sheet and video are helpful.

So I received my Mabett cavity cover panels today.

Install took me 30 minutes in my garage laying on my creeper. I used a 19mm, 18mm and 10mm socket for the install..

Personally, I went with the YouTube install instructions and I would pause the video when I got to parts until I finished each piece then I would replay the video. This was the easiest method for me as I could lay my 14-in Samsung tablet under the truck instead of trying to read this small print on the front and back paper instructions.

I had no issues getting anything to line up,, all the smaller 10 mm bolts went in their holes. I just made sure to leave all the bolts loose for the two panels in order to properly get each bolt started.

I don't know what the torque spec is on the two 18 mm bolts (85 ft lbs) that go into the subframe that appear to hold on the driver's side of the trailer hitch, but I was sure to give them plenty of torque when I tightened them back up. As they were on there pretty snug I didn't need a breaker bar thankfully, although I had it ready.

I'm happy with the fittimet on the two panels, as it looks like it will keep 98% of debris and crap out of there. Especially the winter time salt & snow as well as moisture & mud.

I definitely give Mabett 5 stars on what they created here.

My spare is removed currently but it still feels like it will be a task trying to tight them things under there.
No need to drop the spare tire for install. But removing the exhaust from its hanger grommet helps. Also, if you have vehicle ramps, backing onto them is incredibly helpful.

Yes…

Saw a 2025 pre-production unit recently and the exposed cavity is still there. Pointed it out to a Ford rep who was surprised to learn about it.
I guess I will add this to the list of things to get and get done. January/February is cold here so will have to wait till warm weather.

I definitely give Mabett 5 stars on what they created here. Only way it would have been a slightly better product imo would have been if they made it from 1/8 in thick ABS plastic. Which also would have brought the cost & weight down slightly.

I have nightmare flashbacks of those ripping on a previous vehicle, didn't move it, probably should of.

My vocabulary was mostly 4 letter words when trying to get everything to align 😂
you could have cut your 4-letter soliloquie in half 😉

yes, I recommend to anyone else installing to drop the muffler off the hanger. It takes a little persuasion to get it off but it’s not too difficult.

is there a way to get amazon to alert me when this is back in stock? I thought there was but I'm just not seeing it. Sometimes I can easily miss what's right in front of me so I ask the question.
