Costco Interstate AGM battery - anyone install on Hybrid ?

There are no suitable batteries if you search the Costco or the Interstate websites for a battery that fits a hybrid. I suspect that they do not build one with the required reversed battery terminals.

One has to do their own research and then decide what works and what will not. I have found other car parts that were not “listed“ for a certain application, but cross reference showed they were the same part.

This is good to know a reliable battery at a good price for the HYBRID. I have not had a problem yet but last few days when sitting waiting it seams to be shutting down sooner then before.

As stated above by multiple people, for the hybrid, use the U-Plus battery on Amazon. Cheap, fits perfectly, and less than a 30 minute job to change. I did it, and then followed the instructions to reset the BMS in the Owner’s Manual and it’s worked great. Once you do it, your Mav will then have the battery type that the BMS expects. Issues won’t go away completely, but it will charge quicker and maintain the charge better.

I got mine during Prime Days on sale for $112 so core charge didn’t even factor in since it was so inexpensive. My local Auto Zone will take my old battery and give a store gift card for it.

Good to know. I kind of figured with internet batteries that's the way it was going to go. I had no idea about AutoZone and the store credit.

Since the Maverick doesn't come with an AGM battery, Amazon will state it's not for your Maverick, regardless if it physically fits or not.
