12 V H4 AGM battery at Costco

Seems to be a case were it depends on your location. For my location, where the $94.92 535CCA AGM Everstart had been available for shipping, today it now shows "out of stock" for shipping to me, BUT when I select "Pick up - Check Nearby" and enter my zip code it shows "Available" at a fair number stores in my area. But who knows if they actually do have this specific battery or whether they'll honor the $94.92 price?

In my original/separate "Great Deal For Maverick Hybrid Everlast Platinum AGM Battery" thread, glad to see at least a couple members have obtained these AGM batteries.

The Everlast AGM battery does not come when any new vent tubing, etc. and that raised a question from a member who was in the process of installing. Not be a problem though as I was able to install and re-use the original venting set-up (see photos). If interested, check out that separate thread. I imagine this pertains to other if not all replacement batteries for the Maverick Hybrid.

I have a '23 XLT Hybrid (35 months old, 22Kmiles). Never failed to start or gone to deep sleep, but it has been increasingly going to battery saver and cutting things like entry lights. Dealer says battery tests a little low, but not in warranty. Was in Costco recently and they had the Interstate H4 AGM battery for $137 + tax + $3 disposal fee + $15 core charge (36 mo prorated warranty, 480CCA, 52 Ahr, 75' reserve). To try to avoid problems over the winter, I bought it Monday and installed it Tuesday. Estimate it to take about 40', took me a little longer because I had a slip up. No need to remove housing, you need a long extension and a magnetic pickup. Remove the neg first then the hold down bolt & clamp, then slide the battery to get clearance to remove the Pos clamp. Remove battery and reinstall in reverse order. Then reset BMS.

Nice to know you don’t have to remove the housing like online videos show

I have just replaced my 12 volt battery in my Hybrid maverick with a AGM and no need to remove the plastic to replace. H4 size
