I dropped the spare, looked more closely and am not finding any structural damage. The bumper cover is bowed slightly on either side at the fenders.

noticed that. also looking at the underneath pics the bumper cover is not even all the way across. Maybe some adjustment needed. Oh, and you have a Really Clean Truck!!!!

Thank you. I haven't ventured on any dirt roads yet in the 2,800 miles on the odometer.

You could try some magnetic reflectors.

I don't think a Maverick could haul either the coils needed for a strong enough electromagnet to repulse a vehicle, nor the supercapacitor to cover a pulse like that!


I was going to say, "maybe an F-150", but I suspect you're up around an F-650 or so . . .

Sorry that happened to you man. I'm trying to avoid the same result since my driveway is off a busy high speed highway. I bought this kit for $20. I ONLY use it turning in my driveway if I don't think the person behind is paying attention. Crazy what we have to do to get them to pay attention.

Came here to say that.

No amount of LEDs will help, when a distracted driver is behind you staring at a screen instead of watching traffic. Staring at either a phone or the stupid screens they're putting in every single car & truck now.

Isnt it great the 25’ maverick is getting a bigger screen too.

Yep. And you have to look at the screen to change the HVAC settings - something that you can do in 2022-2024 models by just reaching over w/o even looking and turning a large knob.
