I contacted granger Ford to price out a Premium, 10 year plan at 75,000 miles and a $50 deductible. I asked them about the Interior and Exterior Lighting Plan add on. My question was: Does the $50 deductible apply to lights if I purchase the Lighting Plan?
Their answer was "Yes". For clarification I use a scenario where, if one of my interior cab lights goes out does the $50 deductible apply. Again the answer was Yes. So, what am I missing? What is the point of buying lighting insurance with a deductible that is more than I would pay at an auto parts store for a simple bulb?
I can see that replacing a headlight might put the cost over $50.00 but replacing a single, easily changeable bulb, would rarely cost more than the deductible.
Any advice would be appreciated
