Ford Protect Extended Service Plan

I have a 2024 Lariat Hybrid, 7700 miles.
Today I received an email about Ford Protect. It said I could get a 10 year 175,000 mile extend service plan.

Since I tend to keep my vehicles a long time, I am wondering if it's worth looking into.

Has any gotten the service plan, and if so what did it cost?

Too many variables for a general all around price.

I bought one last month for my 2025. Through a Ford dealership that sells plans mostly nationally. It was much cheaper than the quote by my local dealership when I bought my truck. I

I went with the 10 year 60K premium. This is a second vehicle that probably isn't going to be used on any long road trips so saved money by not paying for miles I don't expect to need.

I would expect that any prices listed in this email would be list prices.

I would insist on only the Ford factory ESP plans. That way you are assured of factory OEM parts and can be prorated back to you if you sell the truck before the coverage is finished. Most seem to recommend Granger Ford as a place to get a quote.

I work in a Ford service center. The Writters tell me Grainger insures ALl of Fords ESP plane.

Just use a friend or relative’s address in a state other than Florida or CA. The transaction is all done through email. Ford doesn’t care. They don’t even see the address of the warranty in their database, just a code number. You can call Granger to verify.

That is my plan next month when I get one. I am in Florida where it is not allowed to purchase from out of state so I plan to use my In Laws address in Kentucky to get the warranty from Granger.
