I am surprised nobody has addressed the question of selecting the right dealer and what to look for. There is a list of dealerships (via a Google Sheet) with either a recommendation or a warning. These are based on new Maverick purchases only.
@fordvideoguy Tim Bartz at Long McArthur just produced a Maverick Monday video explaining the ordering process I would recommend you watch as well.
In general,
My family and I love the Maverick. There are three in the family (until I sell mine). I hope you have a great dealer experience and love your new Maverick too. Don't forget to post pictures when you take delivery.

In general,
- Make sure the dealer shares with you how many allocations they expect to receive and how many orders they have. A dealer has to have an allocation to schedule your Maverick for production.
- Make sure they document any/all fees you will be charged at the time of purchase. You should pay MSRP and not be required to pay for dealer added mark-up or required add-ons.
- Get a copy of the DORA and make sure they know how to handle price protection.
- I recommend setting up a regular communication cadence with your salesperson. Establishing a working arrangement with your salesperson will go a long way towards knowing what is going on.
- Get educated... There are lots of good videos from Tim Bartz and others on the process, what to consider when deciding which model to get, the packages, etc. And stay away from DIOs if possible and add them once your Maverick has arrived. There are lots of quality aftermarket suppliers available including sponsors on MTC.
