You know, we still need something to fill in the big gap behind the driver's side rear tire so dirt/mud/rocks don't fly up into the underside of the rear bumper.

Does it require unscrewing to accomplish the transition from up and down?

Some sort of pull tabs or hinges would be a much better option. A pull to release and lock into either position makes more sense for this application. Same with sliding back and forth.

I'd be interested if those were integrated in here. 100% I'd buy that and swap out my ratcheting divider.

Cool idea having it be a folding platform, construction looks great too. However I do think you will do alot better with a spring loaded pin or bar to lock it in the different positions. On the other hand we got enough of the "Make it with Maverick" crowd around here, someone will source a suitable pin and mod theirs.

I agree with the others. There needs to be a different way to secure the divider when flipping the divider up and down.

How many times can it be used before the screw strips and/or rusts up. Lose or break the tool. Too many variables.

Would not be so great fiddling around in a negative degree day or 100+ degree day to unscrew/move divider/screw each side.

Some sort of lock pin setup or if it absolutely needs to be screws at least gripped/knurled or hand knob screws.

Nice product, but like others, a push, pull spring pin would be a much better solution than having to unscrew every time you make an adjustment. Take a look at the handles on the bed rail itself. Those handles pull out so you can reposition them and lock into place where the holes on the rail are.

Help me understand why one would need to switch to horizontal and put things on top of the divider w/o a way to secure the cargo? Stuff will fall off while traveling with an unsecured load. I imagine if one were to use ratchet straps from one end of the divider to another, that would increase the chances of it bowing and/or breaking.
And speaking of bowing, if this bed divider is made out of ABS plastic, it will definitely dry out and crack in hot and humid locations.
