Truck Bed Divider Kit

I was checking out the MY23 Maverick build page on Ford.com and noticed Ford now has a “Bed Divider Kit” that is under “Exterior Options” listed for $350. I looked on the Ford Accessories page to get more info and photos of that option but could not find it. Does anyone out there in Maverick Land have any info on that truck bed divider kit? This was NOT available for MY22 Maverick orders.

We do know from credible sources it is a major constrained item that will hold up scheduling and build, IIRC somewhere in the low single digits as a percentage of availability for being chosen for production.

I‘m not ordering MY23. I ordered MY22 October last year. Most recent email indicated build week of Nov 14. I was just interested in seeing some additional photos of that accessory and reading up on the description. This was not available when I placed my order. I’m probably going to make my own bed divider(s) using 2”x6” lumber and spay painting them black to match my spray in bed liner. Since I have a VIN, I will be getting my Maverick before years end and before Ford starts production on the MY23. I was just interested in the design and perhaps incorp in my DIY project. Besides, $350 is a little extreme for a bed divider in my humble opinion.

We tried the wood, if we had to do it over again would recommend trying a black or another color composite material instead of wood. Should hold up better.

If anyone has other advice, lets hear or see it............................

Yes while you're there you can buy 2x6 2x4's and a sheet of plywood so you can make your own bed divider kit

I’m thinking of using this when my Mav comes in. Cut to the proper lengths, one board should be enough for four pieces. And weatherproof, too.
