I've been looking forward to @MABETT's Bed Divider

for quite some time, knowing all along I would make it roadside friendly without the need for tools. I can now move it forward and backward along the side rails, flip it up, and even remove it without any tools.

Having to use an allen wrench, as designed, is not an issue though. It takes just a minute to adjust it back and forth anywhere along the side rails. Perhaps another minute to flip it, and maybe one more to remove it. A ratcheting allen tool would cut that time in half. With the Oem install, it is very tight across the top, while the bottom does give a little, nothing you would hear while driving.

My personal upgrade doesn't currently improve or lessen that in any way.
I will be using it as a "select a size" bed area I need at that time and secure my load to it if needed.
I plan to flip it up when whatever I'm hauling is long, so it's out of the way. I can also secure a load to it in that aspect as well. I never saw its use when flipped up, but it could be useful for tailgating or camping as a shelf or table if sorts. I still feel there's room for improvement regarding my spacer, making it even more secure in any position, to be continued.

This mod is just who I am, it is not necessary to do. Install is easy right out of the box
https://a.co/d/dUP9e3k, you can purchase them with or without side rails if you already have them. Just consider the options you have beforehand. I flip it towards the back window for my needs, but their directions are for flipping towards the tailgate. Also, consider which side of divider you want oem rail tie-downs if you have them. I chose in-between divider and rear window. In that position, it contours around my tie-downs in the up position.

This truly is a game-changer for this first-time truck owner who only ever used the trunk of a car.
Mabett is based in China, ... just saying
