Truck Bed Divider Art

Thought I would share the 2”x10” I stained and painted as my truck bed divider. There’s plenty of functional, sleek and barebones versions out there but I decided to make mine a touch more feminine. I did a charcoal stain, sketched out peonies (mom’s favorite flower), etched out (with Dremel), hand-painted the gold color inlay and then satin clear coated the board. 🤍

Thank you so much! It was originally going to just be stained black but with the wheels I just picked up and fixed up, I wanted them to complement each other. I’ll be making a post on those later once I figure out how to deal with the center caps that still say Volvo on them

I decided to carve a Chickadee out of a piece of pine. I painted it up as close to real and set it on a bird feeder. It got attacked by other Chickadees. I guess it looked real enough to fool them.

I didn't have a video camera back then, but I still have the carving. I could set it up again, but this year the Chickadees did not show up at my feeders after summer ended.

very cool, now im stuck trying to figure out why didnt i think of something like that
the options for personalization seem endless.

Very nice! We dont really use one because of our dogs but if we did I would do a Ford logo in the middle and some palm trees at the sides.
