Good question - Ford, let us know when you get around to it! How do we file formal complaints? Design us some better axles, you gave us some cheap ones that can’t even make $20kHas anyone figured out why the Hybrid tends to chew through axels? Lousy design? Poor Quality? Constant torque from acceleration and regeneration? All of the above maybe?
None yet , I am looking into aftermarket , or modded tremor axles to widen the front 2 1/2” per side .

Factory axles are not too bad price wise = $149 my cost ,at least the long side(passenger) with boots.
Not sure on the tremor axles (bigger) but different than hybrid .i bet they are within 20$ .
They seem to be about 3-4 day lead time .
The long ones I’m going to do will be pricey , probably in the $400 -700 each if I go with Porsche 930 cv sections and , or 300m material for the shaft.
regular part starts with nz6z-Can you confirm the tremor has different axles? My dealer says it's the same part number for all awd mavericks including tremors.
GSP offers 2 yr 30 k miles for 118 on rock auto. Anyone tried them?Does anyone know of aftermarket front CV axles for the maverick?
