Saw it mentioned earlier in the thread but does anyone have spare LU2Z-14474-AA pins they'd be willing to send me?
Are those the pins that go into the IPMA plug? If so, yes I do have a couple left. I think 5 came in the pack and I only used 2.

I am getting ready to start sourcing parts to do this to my new 2024 XLT hybrid, is there anything new I should know for the 2024 model? I’ve read through most of this thread, but there are a lot of different options and references so it’s kind of hard to keep track of all of it.

I also noticed that the ACC module on the F150 is hidden under one of the cutouts on the corner of the bumper….has anybody tried that with a Maverick?

Personally, I wouldnt mess with the sensor placement as there is probably some programming which relies on knowing where the sensor is relative to the rest of the vehicle.

An update on my ACC installation. Over the last week I did a long road trip from California to Iowa and back. Having ACC made the trip much easier. But a problem came up with the CCM going offline. First occurrence was in Las Vegas. CCM went offline several times through Vegas area. Temperature was 82 to 83 degrees outside. It would go off for maybe 30 seconds and then come back. After that, worked perfectly for rest of the trip with outside temps as high as 86 to 87. On the return trip, working great till I got into the California deserts. Started going off at about 93 degrees and never came back with temps up to 106. As soon as I got closer to the coast and temps dropped below 92, CCM came back online and worked perfectly for remainder of the trip. When the CCM went offline I didn't even have the basic cruise control. Those several hours in the desert were not fun. Before the trip, I also noticed that if the sun was shining directly on the CCM, it would go offline till I got moving and it cooled off.

I am thinking that the harness I made using Cat 5 cable is not up to the task. Maybe the heat causing too much resistance in the wire. But then why the problem at 82 to 83 degrees? Not sure about that. Also wondering if I need to do another calibration. Hoping the CCM is not defective

If anyone has any ideas, I would really appreciate your help.
Another update. A little over a week ago I replaced all of the wiring from the fuse panel to the CCM and all the way up to the IPMA in hopes it would alleviate the heat related issues of CCM going offline. I used good quality 18ga wire for all connections. All connections were soldered to ensure a could connection. After a week, the system has been working flawlessly. Although I have not been in temperatures about 92, there were other times when the CCM would go offline due to heat. Such as direct sunlight or stopping at a drive-thru where no cooling air was flowing through the system, heating up the CCM. It always came back on-line as soon as I started driving and cool air flow returned. I am not sure why heat caused the issues with the old wiring and the rewire solved the problem, but I am happy it did. Thanks to all who offered suggestions.

Had the recent recall updates done. The one for the taillight/brake light and the engine failure fire. Both software updates. I was concerned that the updates would mess up my ACC programing. There is one setting in the body control module to get ACC working. The taillight update was in that module and it did revert the setting to the factory setting. I had to go back into Forscan and fix it. That was the only thing it messed up.

Each part in the original post has seen a small increase...I am pricing this around $900 before taxes and shipping now. This doesn't even include the misc items, misc tools and time spent. Yikes!

Should I consider skipping the grill? Any part that I can find elsewhere to save on cost?

I did mine using the stock XLT grill. Works fine that way. I was really careful with the cutting of the grill to make sure the cover fit snugly. I cut the hole undersized and using a Dremil tool with sanding drum, snuck up on the fit. The cover has 2 tabs extending from the bottom that I fit through 2 holes I cut in the bumper. It helped a lot to put bumper back on after hole was cut and radar module was installed to figure out the exact place to make the 2 holes for the cover to fit into. Black ABS glue like the stuff used on ABS pipe joints did a great job of gluing cover to grill. I "painted" the glue on to the joints between cover and grill using a small artist brush. It worked great. I spent less than $600 for all of the parts.

Anyone know how to disable the annoying "KEEP HANDS ON STEERING WHEELS" message? I always keep at least one hand on wheel when cruising down the highway, but unless I have a death grip on wheel, I get that message constantly. Very annoying!

No possible to hack that, is inside pscm firmware. Keep your hands on steering wheel while driving, lane centering is good to have but it can’t drive by you. But, I watched some video that from a russian guy that holds a 0.5kg piece of something on Ford Fusion steering wheel in someway and it works. I will share

A friend used a weighted wrist band but I forget what car it was. It created enough resistance to emulate what the system believed to be a hand. I agree with you though. It's a slipper slope and dangerous.
